· Walk-about Windsor is a pamphlet available from Windsor Information Centre in the Royal Railway station. Text scanned from the pamphlet. Extra comment by windsorsoup. Pictures by Arthur.
· Health Warning
· Do not attempt to do this walk it! Arthur Brownwindsor did it on his bike and the Arts Centre mentioned on the walk is two miles and that is only about halfway.
· Also there are missing instructions so you will probably get totally lost.
· Better click on the little pictures and then follow the flying umbrellas and take the Windsor Soup tour.

This is a map of mediaevil Windsor. The street lines are the same today but street names have changed. The first part of the walk is down Thames Street, here named Bishop Street, to the river.

When this started I did not know what a site map was so I got a map, scanned it and here you are. Then I thought, up in the Royal Station anyone can get a fan club. All you do is stand there with a folded umbrella, talk nonsense in a loud voice, walk off in any direction and people follow you! Even when you have got a folded umbrella and its raining! Tourists follow anyone with a folded umbrella! Like the people in the image here.So I thought stick some umbrellas on the map and they will all think they are tourists and follow them. But it turned out as if someone had been playing darts with a map of Windsor. The map is current, the other is from 1607 so you can see the street lines have hardly changed. So take a tour.
