Hello Arthur
Thank you for your email. I understand that you have a concern regarding
the placement of Google ads on your site's pages.
The AdSense ad code on the 'Ad layout code' page is valid for any page on
which you want to display Google ads. Simply add the HTML code to any page
that complies with our programme policies, and we'll automatically detect
the new page.
In general, Google ads perform well on pages that predominantly contain
text, as these types of pages are most likely to receive relevant ads.
Placing the AdSense ad code on more pages with text-based content focused
on a variety of topics will increase ad exposure and variety across your
website.
Additionally, the position of an ad on a page can be a factor in
determining how much attention it gets. If you place an ad in a prominent
position on the page, it will be noticed by more users. Try to place ad
units above the fold, the portion of your page that is viewable without
scrolling.
Please feel free to email us at adsense-uk@google.com if you have
additional questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Chris

Dear Chris, registered www.windsorsoup.co.uk. Then I started reading books about the Kings and Queens who lived in the Castle. Could only remember the funny bits. So started looking for them.
So relax and have a good wander round Windsor, take in the weird history. But I do do a public service by putting on all the serious sites on the links page. Even the local vicar uses it.
When you turned down soop I thought an ideal opportunity for a spoof. I even had people waiting for the next episode. And giving me clippings about Google I missed.
So thanks for being so patient and a good sport Chris......I am proud of some of my classic lines. "Are your teenagers married? Mrs Brownwindsor and I did not have sex before we got married and even then not with each other." And working on your pet projects........when I saw that in the newspaper my ten year old was actually putting together a sort of plastic tunnel arrangement with wheels and stuff for her gerbils and it was too good to miss.
I think I would have been tempted to tell someone to take a jump but you patiently responded all the time.......and did not even get tempted when I asked you where to stick it.
I will put the Adsense banner on the links page because no navi on it and see what happens.
News for Google looking better already. Bearded goalkeeper philosopher in a dress in front of a tiny goal bound to catch that huge ball you bounce on! Well done.
Thanks again
No spoofing this time. Want to thank you for being so kind and patient.
